GR Catering has served as a primary caterer for the Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) Foundation for the past two years. Whether it has been working with the Patrick Henry High School Spirit of 76 Band Boosters for a fund raising event at the Mission Trails Visitor Center, serving breakfast on the MTRP Terrace for 135 members of the East County Chamber of Commerce in July, or providing outstanding cuisine for the MTRP Foundation’s annual Holiday Party on December 4, for over 100 of the park’s key volunteers and donors, GR Catering always delivers. And thank you to Marty and Gaby for all you do to support your community!

The wedding is taking place at a resort 40 miles south of La Paz so we wanted to get the mood going by having Mexican food; glad we did!
The tortillas tasted home made, the presentation was beautiful (Mexican/Tropical), the staff was extremely nice & helpful and the food was prepared on site and delicious. We have some vegetarians in the group so they made tofu and vegetable fajitas along with chicken and veggie fajitas. This was done on site in a free standing wok; really added a nice touch to the party with the smell making everyone hungry! We also had cheese enchiladas and a wonderful green salad with pine nuts, feta, cranberries with two homemade dressings to choose from. The guacamole they made was the real deal with no fillers.
Everything turn out perfect. So, if you are planning a party and like freshly cooked food (not re-heated) I highly recommend this company. I also found their cost to be very reasonable.

I just wanted to extend a warm “thank you” from me and my husband for the wonderful food last Friday. Everyone had plenty to eat and the food was delicious! I will recommend your catering company to the other Scouters in our area who have similiar events. I know of at least one person who spoke to me after the dinner saying that she would likely contact you about catering her son’s Eagle Scout award ceremony.
In the rush to figure out the total on Friday, I think we failed to pay you for the delivery fee. If so, please let me know so that we can rectify that.

Words alone cannot express our debt of gratitude for the amazing job you did for our daughter’s wedding! Everything about your business was exceptional! The service was impeccable, the display amazing, and most important, the food was superb! So many guests came up to us wondering who the caterer was? After having reviewed several caterers, we found ourselves tired of hearing the same old things. They would promise to fix about anything we wanted, but, the cooking would be done in their kitchens, and later transported in warming dishes to the venue site. We were so tired of tasting food that tasted like it was warmed up. I did not want to serve my guests food anybody could reheat in a microwave. Therefore, when we came across GR Catering, and learned all of the food is prepared fresh at the venue site, we knew our search was finally over! What we didn’t know, was while the food was cooking, it would smell so exceptional and lead our guests to the verge of salivating.
If ever we need a caterer in the future, it is comforting to know we will not have to go to the lengths of research as we have in the past. If there is anything we could do for you, or if ever you need a recommendation, do not hesitate contacting us. You guys are the best, and we would be happy to spread the word!

Coming in from out of town to host this event could have been trying for us, but you took all the anxiousness away. The event was a huge success for all our guests. We were sold on you for catering our event, after you offered for us to come to San Diego to try three of the dishes we were planning on having you make for our Birthday “Picnic on the Bluff” in Dana Point.The entree and appetizers you served us were delicious.
We selected you over two other respected gourmet caterers in the area.
Although the set up of the event went smoothly, and the food was attractively displayed, and everyone commented how good it was; the real surprise was the caliber of people you had working at the Picnic.
